Located in the countryside of Cavriana on the morainic hills south of Lake Garda, the Agriturismo Nuova Scardua offers a stay immersed in the greenery of the 40 hectares of property, in peace and tranquility

5 spacious rooms can accommodate a total number of 20 guests.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a small refrigerator and free toiletries. Bright colors, ceilings with wooden beams and tiled floors characterize the rooms of Agriturismo Scardua

The Italian breakfast features self-produced cakes and jams. The fresh and nutritious eggs from the chicken coop, the local cheeses and salami, are an extra much appreciated by the guests

One of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Castellaro Lagusello, can be reached with a short 1.5km walk.
Reachable in a few minutes by car are Borghetto sul Mincio, Monzambano, Cavriana, Solferino and Volta Mantovana with their towers and castles that can be visited

Lake Garda is 9 km away. The A4 Autostrada Serenissima motorway is a 10-minute drive from the Nuova Scardua country house. Verona is 35km away, Mantua 25km, Brescia 40km

FARMHOUSE

The farm mainly deals with the production of vegetables and fruit as well as poultry farming. Walking around the farm you can easily meet hens, ducks, mallards, geese and peacocks. Fresh eggs are served for breakfast upon request or are used for the dough of tagliatelle, bigoi, tortelli and desserts. Meats are served in the restaurant as are vegetables and fruits. The vegetables and fruit from the gardens are also transformed into pickled vegetables, pickled in oil or fermented. With the fruit jams are made and served at breakfast

ROOMS

The Farmhouse has 5 spacious and recently renovated rooms. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, kettle and large wardrobes. RESTAURANT

The restaurant has a capacity of 60 seats, in the two internal rooms and about 100 seats outside. The menu follows the cyclical nature of the seasons and offers the typical cuisine of Mantua. The products come from small local farms, possibly organic. The antipasto platter offers 9/10 different types of cold cuts. The cheese platter offers fresh and aged cow’s, goat’s and sheep’s milk cheeses.
The first courses are homemade with a wide choice of tagliatelle, bigoi, pumpkin tortelli, green tortelli with various vegetables such as spinach, wild herbs, red shiro, pak choi. The second courses include stews, stewed and grilled meats. The desserts are all homemade, such as the typical sbrisolona and the s biagio cake. The wine list offers a selection of strictly natural wines produced by small artisan cellars that work according to the rules of organic and biodynamic production.
Il ristorante ha una capienza di 60 coperti, nelle due sale interne e di circa 100 coperti all’esterno. Il menù segue la ciclicità delle stagioni e propone le tipicità della cucina mantovana.
I prodotti provengono da piccole aziende agricole locali, possibilmente Bio.
Il Tagliere di antipasto offre 9/10 diversi tipi di affettati. Il tagliere di formaggi offre formaggi di latte vaccino, capra e pecora, freschi e stagionati.
I primi sono prodotti in casa con un’ampia scelta di tagliatelle, bigoi, tortelli di zucca, tortelli verdi con diverse verdure come gli spinaci, le erbe di campo, red shiro, pak choi.
I secondi prevedono stracotti, carni in umido e alla brace.
I dolci sono tutti prodotti in casa come le tipiche, sbrisolona e la torta di S. Biagio.
La carta vini propone  una selezione di vini rigorosamente naturali  prodotti da  piccole cantine artigianali che lavorano seguendo i canoni della produzione biologica e biodinamica.
